Summit Europe, scheduled for June 7-8 in

Rodríguez-Roselló, Head of Directorate D
-- Network and Communication
Technologies, Networked Audiovisual
Systems -- at the European Commission.
During this luncheon sponsored by
Microsoft Corporation, Rodríguez-Roselló
will discuss the latest initiatives and
key legislative and regulatory
developments that will affect business
in the mobile imaging sector.

Rodríguez-Roselló joined the European
Commission in 1989 as Head of Division
in Directorate-General
"Telecommunications, Information Market
and Exploitation of Research." In 2004
he was appointed Head of the Unit
“Networked Audiovisual Systems,” where
he is responsible for R&D in converging
systems AV Telecommunications, Home
Networks, Extended Home, Networked
Electronic Media, as well as Content
creation, delivery and visualization.
He is also Director of Research and
Development at the Institute for
Technologies in Education of the
Ministry of Education in Spain. He is
the author of numerous books,
videotapes, educational software titles
and articles on European Research
related to eLearning, Multimedia,
eGovernment, eInclusion, eWork, Grid
Technologies, Research Networks,
Telecommunications and the future of the
Internet, among other topics.
The Mobile Imaging Summit will kick off
with the prestigious Visionary
Roundtable. This edition will feature
five industry leaders joining Moderator
